In the recent years, especially after the housing turmoil and market crashes, many households are having tough times making ends meet, and they may have to give up the luxuries they used to enjoy in the past, such as car and a big house. In fact, many people even have difficulties finding a job that suits their specialty and skills. This, in effect, can bring distress to the family members at home, including children that need safe and secure environment to grow up.Some children may have access to arts so they can channel their frustration, anxiety, and stress to creating art pieces. Meanwhile, those who do not have access to arts often end up joining the wrong kind of groups and getting involved in problems. If you want to create better communities, you can do so by providing children good access to arts and supporting art advocacy.
There is a non-profit organization Sing for Hope that specializes in art advocacy. With youth outreach programs, healing arts hospital outreach, and other programs that are designed to give hope to children across the country. You can donate or volunteer to support art advocacy. GlaxoSmithKline's Annette Byrd said that (the industries) need people who think creatively, as (arts) help enhance symbiotic and creative thinking.
Experiences with arts projects help children learn how to start a new idea, and how to get a job done better at cheaper cost. By giving children a chance to hone their skills in arts, you are helping the youngsters to create safer, better communities, filled with capable individuals. In return, they will be able to create better country for the future generations. Support art advocacy and help create better communities!
